Show CLEARFIELD IOUKkr, July 18, v, 1 On August 4, the growing community of West Point will gather together to celebrate their newest community project, a beautiful new park. To many, the park seemed something more than a dream some years ago, but after years of debating, Final decisions, and a heavy push to have the park completed, it has become a reality. The park is located on 3500 West in West Point. It is equipped with all the modern park facilities which includes, two lighted tennis courts that are enclosed by a fence, plentiful playground' equipment, several .v bowerys for outdoor events, two diamonds suitable forT-Ba- ll play, and other diamonds for softball and baseball. There is also ample room for parking. Last Monday evening marked the start of the West Point Community , Tennis Tournament which is being staged on the home town courts. Pat Simonson and Katherine Manning have spearheaded the event. play for the younger boys has been a success from the start. Several teams comprise the West Point League which is busting at the seams with child and parent support.
