The Roy LDS Stake and presidency High Council, and their partners held a dinner party on Saturday at the Roy Stake Center. The event honored outgoing councilmen, Ernest Bell, Maurice Blau, and Robert Stewart. A program followed the dinner. and Brent Linda Strickland are proud parents of a baby boy born recently. This is the first child for the young couple. Mr. and Mrs. Julian Green were in St. George last week, where Mr. Green, who is Roy City Chief of Police, attended a convention. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Dickinson and Miss Adeia Craig Ogan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ogan, of Roy, has won two gold awards in the Utah Advertising Federations Gold Award competition for 1977. Craig is an account for executive Gillham Advertising Inc., of Salt Lake and received the award at the federations annual banquet. He graduated from Roy High School, Weber State College, and attended the University of Utah. Gerry and Susan Easthope are parents of a baby girl born March 16. They now have a boy and a girl in their family. Nancy Pingree, who has been working in St. George for the past few months has returned to Roy, to live at home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Pingree. A delightful two weeks tour of Hawaii was taken by Bernell and Ellen Chambers. They visited four islands Oahu, Hawaii, Maui, and Hawaii.
