Eddis Fidel visited here over the weekend with Stan and Carol Erickson. Mrs. Fidel and Mrs. Erickson are sisters. She is from Albequerque, New Mexico. Burt and Shirley Lippold have a new daughter born on March 29. Stephen and Wendy Wallace visited here last weekend with their grandparents Arley and Lorene Wallace and with an uncle Arley Jay and Florence Wallace. Stephen is attending BYU. Wendy has graduated from the school. Following the visit went on to the language training school in Provo. She will go on a mission in the Puerto Rico in area, headquartered Fla. Tallahassee, parents are Their Dee and Ruth Wallace who live in Tracy, California. Legrand Wood, 70. of Garland, who died on April 7 following a long illness was the father of Mrs. Kent (Lois) Hale. He was a retired farmer and fireman. He is survived by his widow the former Elizabeth Wise, three sons and three daughters, 24 1 greatgrandchildren, grandchild. Funeral services in Tremonton on Tuesday, Burial in the Garland Cemetery. of Tyrus E. Veron Anniston, Alabama who died on Thursday in Anniston was the father of Charles E. Vernon.
