S.L.C., UT 8115 Newf i re department ready for occupancy Clearfield Citys new fire department building should soon be ready for occupancy, according to fire chief Elmo Hodson. If everything goes right we should be able to move in next week, chief Hodson said. All that remains to be done is a little painting, floor waxing and connecting the phones. The $349,000 building, located just west of the city offices on Center Street, already houses four fire engines. Built on two levels, by the Herm Hughes and Sons construction firm of Bountiful, the building has room for six fire engines. Construction work began last spring on the 9,400 square foot building. It is a structure that should serve Clearfield Citizens well for many years and one which they can be justifiably proud of. m,- - "V- - Hodson and fireman Dean Sessons look of the at pleased prospects moving into the new fire station.
