Everett Thompson, 188 W. 1425 N., reporting someone ringing doorbells and throwing eggs. Gerald Robert Boren, 38, was taken to the Davis County Jail following charges of driving under the influence. March 15, 1979 Super Kwik, 273 W. 1300 N., reported someone put in worth of gas and left without paying. $11 March 16, 1979 Bonus Gas, 1813 N. Main, reported someone leaving without paying for $11 in gasoline. A case ot disorderly conduct was being investigated. Tideland Seafood reported taking a bad check, The case was turned over to police. March 18, 1979 of Mary Jo Griego, 18, was charged with illegal possession alcohol and drinking under age. Charles Sterling, 20, Billings, Mont., was transported to Davis County Jail from the Job Corps Center following a charge of possession of explosives. Larry Thornock, 35 S. Villa Dr., reported a spare tire missing from his truck. Loss estimated at $45. He is also on the board of directors of United Way of Northern Utah and a member of the board of directors of United Fund Agency, Family Counseling Service. Beginning as a teller and bookkeeper at Clearfield State Bank, he has seen that institution grow. He now serves as president of the bank. Myron Mabey e Mr. Mabey is a resident of Clearfield. He attended the University of Idaho and University of Utah. A retired employe of the U.S. Post Office, Mr. Mabey has served as president of the State of Utah Letter Carriers for two terms and received a national safety award for 35 years of accident-fre- e driving. He is second vice chairman of the Council on Aging Board and has served on the executive committee, the life has been lived in Clearfield where he has been involved in many facets of the communitys life. He teaches two weekly classes in lapidary at the Heritage Center and is director of the Davis County Wildlife Association. the received Mr. Mabey distinguished service award for Ogden City Pioneer Days in 1969 and was honored as the outstanding senior citizen in January 1978. The later award was presented to him by Mrs. Norma Matheson, first lady of Utah at a ceremony held in the Capitol Rotunda. He and his wife, Lucille, owned and operated Pullum Trailer Court for many years, and he assisted in the development of the Lakeside Square Shopping Center, which Is situated where their trailer court was. |
