Sunset man wounded SUNSET Kelly Randall, 26, 1747 N. Main, was listed in stable condition at the Davis North Medical Center with injuries sustained when he was shot by an unknown assailant. According to Sunset Police Chief Daryl Conger the incident took place early Monday morning. Several leads are being investigated into locating the suspect, said to be about 26 years old. Chief Conger reported that Mr. Randall was traveling in Sunset about 1 g.m. when the driver of a small yellow car alledgedly cut in front of him The victim followed the car north until it stopped at 1300 North. Mr. Randall got out and headed toward the yellow car. He was hit in the hand from the first shot, from what police believe may have been a .32 automatic. That shot caused a second and third wound in the victims arm. He was shot again in the back hip area as he turned and ran back to his own car. Police said Mr. Randall was driven toward Davis North Medical Center by his wife but was transported to an ambulance after police stopped his wife for speeding. The suspect remains at large, however, police are investigating reports from several witnesses.
