As a grateful parent I want to express my sincere thanks to all of the young men and women who work with the Roy Recreation Department. I have three children who are very active in recreation activities. They go to the park every day and participate in arts and crafts, or play archery, BB guns, golf or tennis. On Fridays, they really enjoy the special events. Last week, one of my children injured his eye while at the park. Miss Macdonald took him to the Recreation Shed and cleaned his would immediately, and then was kind enough to bring him home. I took himi to the hospital where the doctor remarked that someone had taken excellent care of the wound. My children have participated in recreation activities or a number of years and I am sincerely grateful for the care given to all of my children everyday at the parks by all of these dedicated young men and women.
