They drove to Southern California where they had a great time at Disneyland, and other places in the area. A baby boy arrived on Valentines Day to Guy and Ins Berrett of 1943 W. of age. Enjoying an evening of sewing and visiting were Bobbie Lunt, Dorothy Thoms, Lynile Buhler, Anna Helen Odell, Hubbard, Virginia Wursten, Jean Harris, and the hostess. Steven and Colleen Nielsen have a baby boy, who joins two sisters in their family. Loren K. LaRose, of Ogden who died Feb. 15, of a heart attack, was a brother of Robert and Gary LaRose, both of Roy. He had lived in Ogden since Jie was 16 years Bear Lodge. The Hazens and the Harbertsons also went down in to Littlefield Arizona for a side trip. Valley and Mrs. Helen Smith, Anita Wilson, Maxine Corry, Grace Judy, Rhea Stevens, Mae Matis, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Tucker, and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Peterson are back from a ten day vacation trip. They drove down to Las Vegas and over to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and then on to Palm Springs, Calif, where they saw the Bob Hope Desert Classic Golf Tournament. Winter party being planned The Weber County Hospital volunteers are planning their annual winter party for all patients tonight at7 p.m. in the auditorium of the hospital. On Wednesday evening, March 1, at 7:30 p.m. in the Southwest Branch Library in Roy, Fire Chief Kenneth Hancock and an assistant will discuss fire safety and prevention in the home. They will answer questions about fireplaces and wood stoves and will tell how to check appliances of UL approval, how to escape from a smoke-fille- d room or house or what to do if you cant escape, how to plan and have family practice for fire drills, and how to assist the firemen when they are called to your house. They will also distribute indentification stickers to be placed in the windows of rooms occupied by children, invalids, or the elderly. The public is invited to attend and it is suggested that this would be a good tamily night program. Former Riverdale resident Garry Judkins and his wife LuJean and their family are here from Apple Valley, California to try to make arrangements for a job and a place to live in order that they can move back here. While in southern California Garry attended law school. Later he worked at the law school and also worked with the California Rehabilitation Center. Their children are Cory, Brian, Brad and Jennifer. Mrs. Winifred Hoagland is recovering at McKay Dee Hospital after major surgery performed last Friday. Her brother, Joseph Lowther, said that she seems to be getting along fine but it is not certain yet when she will be able to return to her home.
