The women are organized as they never were before and all are determined to ward off hard times by electing Herbert Hoover. Mrs. Keeler has been a very active worker in all womens organizations and it is a pleasure to talk to a woman who knows so much about politics and business affairs generally. She said that the Democrats had absolutely no chance in her county this year and she predicts a big majority for her party this year. - WOMEN SHOW INTEREST r. f Mrs. Ernest Bamberger, wife of Bamberger, candidate for United States Senator, and Mrs. Jesse Cannon have returned from a successful trip in the southern part of the state where they organized womens Hoover-Curt- is clubs. KATHLEEN NORRIS FOR HOOVER My own vote will be cast for Her- bert Hoover next .November because he seems to me not only the strongest candidate in this particular election, but the best man that either party has had for many; many years. THE BOSS OF TAMMANY No finger of suspicion has been pointed in recent years at the Tammany organization of which Governor Smith was a member. Those who are familiar with the record of the Democratic standard bearer as Governor of New York know full well that Tammany has not directed Governor Smith, but that Governor Smith has directed Tammany.
