The highly touted Joe Varga of Boston, failed to do much touting and met with instant disfavor, although he minute draw wrestled a forty-fiv- e with Pat McGill. Varga did too much clowning to suit the crowd, and was the recipient of many boos. Paul Pruitt and Gust Pappas staged a fifteen minute tumbling act which ended in a draw, with Pappas' facial expressions proving the high lights.
