The risks involved in mining ventures have been largely eliminated as the result of scientific geological investigations previous to development work. But the public does not fully appreciate this fact and because of dishonest or wildcat mining speculations which have robbed the stockholders, it is too much inclined to class all mining as a gambling proposition. As a matter of fact, if it were not for our metal mining industry in the west, one of this nations greatest assets would be destroyed. It is a short sighted policy to belittle or discourage legitimate mining ventures. If the investor would spend half the time looking into the merits of a mining investment that he does looking into the abstract of a $50 lot, mining would be given great encouragement and the irresponsible mine promoter would be wiped out. gradually inventions E CHANGES EARLY Funeral Directors 48 8outh 8tate Street Telephone Wasatch Mil iniiinii miiiiiiiiimiimiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimiiHiMiii' IS CLlB 25 Mr SALT liAKK TKA Jlrinbrnliip .! :t Xon-Mmibr- no Club Iiouue rnii lie e Purlieu Cull llylnml Fit AN K led : byr slS.IM) 4044 us S CAlI. 9 . 10th smaiirr.
