Show THE CITIZEN 0 What His Neighbors Think Of Him Weber County, the home of Mr. Wattis, is entitled to fifty-tw- o delegates to the State Convention. By a unanimous vote these delegates were instructed to vote as a unit for Mr. Wattis for Governor. The resolution, unanimously passed by the convention, explains fully the regard with which the delegates hold Mr. Wattis. It follows in full: Resolved: That the Republican party of Weber County, through its representatives assembled in convention, does most heartily and unreservedly endorse as the partys candidate for Governor, William H. Wattis. We call to the attention of the voters of the state the fact that Mr. Wattis has lived his entire life in this community; that his environment and experience have been such as to make him familiar with the various industries of the intermountain country and with the needs of its citizens. We feel that, if chosen for this important office, he will bring to bear on the vital problems confronting the state, the same clear vision, powerful constructive energy and high sense of business honor, that he has displayed in the development of so many of the states important industries. We, therefore, instruct and pledge the delegates chosen at this convention, to press to the limit the outstanding claims of Mr. Wattis for this high honor, and that they support him without compromise, working and voting as a unit to the end that his forceful personality and splendid ability may be placed at the entire service of the state.
