Show THE CITIZEN BIG DOINGS AT SALTAIR BEACH DURING ALL WEEK Bathing Revue to Staged June 29; Big Prizes Given; Free Concert Sunday. Be The Saltair 1923 bathing revue will be staged on Friday, June 29. Any girl who makes proper entry and subscribes to the few simple rules will be eligible to compete for the laurels and the prize. An effort is being made by the management to make it the The first entry' date will be Monday, June 19, 12:30 to 3 p. m., at the Odeon pavilion. Girls who contemplate entering may at at the time of entering their names get complete information about costuming and other contest features of the revue. Prizes in cash totalling $100 will be given to the winners. The first prize is $25, and the balance will be divided among the ten next best numbers. Three Judges competent to make comparative decisions will be chosen for the revue. There will be the usual free concert Sunday, June 17, beginning at 5:15 p. m. Lagoon could well be called Utahs Paradise, for with its beautiful gardens, flowers and lawns it well resembles a miniature Garden of Eden. The resort this year has many new attractions, including a novelty Fun house which is guaranteed to cure anyone of the blues. Night bathing is also a feature, with many electric lights so arranged in the fountains that they add brilliancy to the water, playing thereon. A carload of sand has also been added to the beach and many other innovations have been arranged that will prove a delight to pleasure seekers. Don Kirkhams novelty orchestra has now won honors with almost every lover of the terpsichorean art. His specialty is the changing of the dance tempo which puts life into the piece and pep into the dance. Every night but Sunday many take advantage of the dancing opportuniteis offered and trip the light fantastic in gay style. Manager Christensen has arranged an interesting Sunday vaudeville pro gram and each week will find added novelties and varied attractions. For Sunday, June 17, the following program will be given: T and T duet, kings of the banjo; Lucile Martin, xylophonist in popular numbers; Jeannie Campbell, whistler; Leona Brewerton, vocalist; and Lindsay sisters, violinists extraordinary. The concerts are presented under the direction of Avera R. Poulton. Lagoon is the only resort to be reached by a paved road. The drive is very beautiful.
