In "The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come," Pickford, already a star in such pictures as Huckleberry Finn," reaches new heights in cinema stardom. In the picture he will be seen in one of the best liked hoy characters in American fiction. Chad, the hero of the photoplay version of John Fox, Jr.s novel, is a perfect role for Jack Pickford. The story is about a little mountain waif whose destiny transplants him from one grade of society to another with such ease and smoothness that the little mountain hoy is not aware of the change. Not only is the story a true account of customs of mountaineers, hut an exact representation of some incidents of the Civil war. A beautiful love story involving a mountain girls sacrifice adds a touch of pathos to a beautiful photoplay.
