Show March, 1946 CENTERVILLE, DAVIS COUNTY, UTAH Vol. 3; No. 4 HAVOC WROUGHT FLOODS IN 1930 BY Retiring Bishopric Honored A tasty dinner, accompanied g by extemporaneous and musical numbers, highlighted the party given last month by the ward choir. The party was held in the chapel in honor of D. H. Major, retiring president t, of the choir, and Golden L. new president. Other honored guests were President and Mrs. Leroy H. Duncan and members of the old and new bishoprics and their wives. joke-tellin- enlightening. Nature has not always been calm and serene here in Centerville. There have been a few occasions when she has released her pent up fury without mercy. Each member of the former bish- opric was presented with a pen and pencil set and their wives were presented with a corsage. Mrs. Ida Page reviewed For This My Glory. The Centerville Lady Lions held their February meeting at the home of Mrs. Arvilla Ford. Mrs. Virginia Rollins was cohostess. The program was furnished by Mr. and Mrs. Leander Thompson of Bountiful. The Literature, Music and Art Club met February 4 at the home of Mrs. Areta Rushforth. The V mf r A a ft . VT:J .. A The Egg and I was reviewed by Mrs. Ethel Walton. On February 18 Mrs. Betty Tin-ge- y of Bountiful was hostess to the club. Mrs. Areta Rushford reviewed the book The Story of Our Hymns. Drop by teaspoons 2 inches apart in pans, and bake in a quick oven until delicately browned. Shake them in a paper bag with powdered sugar. Nice to be served with ice cream or punch. BACHELORS PUNCH 1 1 1 doz. lemons doz. oranges can pineapple juice Sugar Squeeze lemons and oranges and strain through cheese cloih. Add pineapple juice. Add sugar to taste and let stand over night.
