Until we get a scheduled trash pickup service, you can burn household trash in a screened burn barreL You can use an outdoor barbecue or fireplace for cooking. Any other outdoor fires are a violation of Utah environmental law. This law is enforced by the Utah Department of Environmental Quality—through its Division of Air Quality—and local health authorities. As is true with all laws, enforcement begins with a citizen complaint to responsible authorities. The Division of Air Quality has a field office in Price, 637—0980. As always, your volunteer fire department will do its utmost to protect you and your property. A call to 911 will get us moving with a minimum of delay. We still need a substantial number of people to join us. CV SCHOLARSHIP: Graduating high school seniors are encouraged to submit applications for annual CV scholarship by July 6. Award applies to trade-technical schools as well as regular colleges.
