Show THE ZEPHYRJANUARY-FEBRUAR- 1993 Y PAGE 13 Star Hall then & now Star Hall is falling apart. The roof needs to be replaced, the mortar in the old sandstone bricks is crumbling. Construction on the adjacent courthouse has caused more settling of the building; it deteriorates a little more with each passing day. The Grand County School District, which owns the building, wants to make the needed repairs, but we all know what the financial state of our educational system is. Star Hall is one of Moab's oldest and most historic buildings still standing and deserves better than the neglect it has received. We have to find the funds to save it.
