Show I 2 THE CITIZEN THURSDAY, NAY 29, 1975 OBITUARIES Mory Johnson Mary Ann Smith Johnson, 81, died Saturday morning in Logan Hospital of a short illness. She was born Oct. IS, 1893, in Richmond, a daughter of William and Sarah Jane Spackman Smith. She married George Henry Johnson on May 2, 1917, in the Logan LDS Temple. He died Oct. 3, 1947. Six Receive Dufy To God Awards She was an active member of the LDS Church, teaching DORTHEA MORRELL Relief Society for many years. Six Cove young men have been presented the Duty to God award. They are members of the post sponsored by the Cove LDS Ward. Their advisor is Jon White. They are Vaughn Andersen, Mike Allen, Steven Allen, Claine Jensen, Don Rawlins and Alwin Rawlins. Dorthea Morrell Funeral services were conducted for Dorthea (Thea) Larsen Roundy Morrell, 90, Saturday in Hall Mortuary chapel, with Bishop Lionel Allsop of Logan 15th Ward officiating. Mrs. Morrell died at her home, 374 North 2nd West, Thursday, of natural causes. She was born Dec. Y, 1884, in Logan, a daughter of Lauritz Mikkelsen Bach and Anne Marie Miller Larsen. She married Joseph M. Roundy Sept. 7, 1904, in the Logan LDS Temple. In 1935 she married H. George Morrell in Logan. He died Dec. Surviving are one son and two daughters: Gordon Herman and Mrs. Wendell (Mar-va- ) Buttars, both of Lewiston, and Mrs. Conrad (Erma) Mather, Smithfield, 13 grandchildren and 18 greatgrandchildren. Vaughn Andersen is the son of Lazelle and Odeen Andersen, and is a senior at Sky View High School. Also surviving are brothers and sisters: William F. Smith and Merlin Smith, Mrs. Mildred Means, all of Richmond, George L. Smith, Logan, and Amy Anderson, Rupert, Idaho. ' ters, Jeanette Rawlins, Logan, and she graduates from USU this year; Neil, who is on an LDS mission to Nashville, Tennessee; William, Elaine, Donna and Karen, at home. He has a brother, Dana, on an LDS mission to Japan, and two sisters, Linda and Michelle at home. He likes to go snowmobil-ing- , ride a motorcycle, and work on mechanics. He plans on going to BYU this fall. Mike Allen is the son of Bishop Nard and Mrs. Melva Allen and is a senior at Sky View High School. He has brothers and sis Mike likes snowmobiling, riding his motorbike, snow skiing and hunting. Steven Allen is the son of LaDawn and Seth Allen and is a junior at Sky View High School. He has brothers and sisters, Roxanne, Brent, Lyle, David, Janeen and Lisa. Olsen of Franklin, Idaho, and brothers, Casey and Randy. Steven likes snow skiing, photography, motorcycling, baseball, basketball, football, swimming, hunting, hiking and backpacking, and also working on their farm. Claine likes fishing, mechanics, motorcycling and hunting. Don Rawlins is the son of Maxine and Reginald Rawlins and is a senior at Sky View High School. Claine Jensen, son of Wanda and Bill Jensen, is a junior at Sky View High School. He has a sister, Jtdynne He has a sister Marlene Newbold of Spokane, Wash., and brothers, Alwin, Dell and Dean. He likes electronics, snowmobiling, mechanics, horse back riding, fishing, hunting, travel and driving cars. Alwin Rawlins is the son of Maxine and Reginald Rawlins and is a junior at Sky View High School. He has brothers, Don, Dell and Dean in Cove and a sister, Marlene Newbold of Spokane, Wash. Alwin likes mechanics, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and to work on the farm. Nephi S. Johnson Chosen Parade Marshall 19, 1962. Mrs. Morrell had been active in the LDS Church, having been a visiting Relief Society teacher for 50 years, and a Logan temple officiat-oShe had been especially active in genealogical work. She was born Nov. 14, 1921, in Preston, a daughter of V. David and Rosella Hyde Smart. She married Arlo M. Bodily Oct. 6, 1941, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mrs. Bodily had been active in the church, having been a teacher in the Sunday School and Primary, a chorister and ward choir president. Also, she had been a worker in the school PTA.
