Roberts, 87, Roy, Utah, died Thursday mailing in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes. Mr. Roberts was born April 28, 1905, in Malad, Idaho, a son of John Morgan and Angus McDonald Roberts. He was married to Gladys Minnie Olsen on May 2, 1928, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died May 6, 1935. He was married to Phyllis Laura Jones. They were later divorced. He was married to Mary Louise Nuffer on Nov. 17, 1944, in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a school teacher, retiring in 1970, after 38 years with Weber County schools. He had lived in Roy since 1958. CANS Joseph Egbert Joseph Lefoy Egbert, 67, died 2 in the Franklin County Hospital of causes incident to age. He was bom at Fairview on July 17, 1904, the son of Joseph T. and Ella Mae Bowden Egbert. Thomas, Hillsburough, Ore. and Fred A Thomas, Portland, Ore.; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, one son, and a great grandchild. Funeral services were Tuesday at the Twin Falls Second ward chapel with Bishop Stanley Snow conducting. The two families stayed overnight. While there, they visited with Mrs. Oscar Mathews two brothers who have both been seriously ill. They are Earl Parkinson and wife and aeon Parkinson and wife. d. |
