Show Nancy Gilbert, Pennsylvania Man Plan Temple Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Dallas II. Gil-- ! bert announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of meir aaugwer, Nancy, to James I. Butterfield, son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Butterfield of Pittsburgh, Pa. Nancy graduated from Preston high school in 1965. She attended Utah State University for one and a half years and then transferred to the University of Pittsb u r g h where she graduated as a dental assistant. Jim attended George Williams College in Chicago after graduation from high school. Following their marriage on Aug. 8 in the Idaho Falls temple, they will make their home in Rexburg while Jim continues his education. B. Harrison, while their parents were attending the Jaycee convention in Phoenix, Ariz. CALL Howard Johnsons To Note 50th Year The family of Mr. and Mrs Howard Johnson will honor their parents at an open house commemorating their golden wedding anniversary Saturday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the family home, 77 North First West, Preston. They request no gifts. Mr. Johnson was born in Preston on Feb. 21, 1895, and Mrs. Johnson was born in Trenton on Sept. 1, 1898. Both were educated in Preston schools. Ihey were married in the Logan temple on March 13, 1918, and have resided in Preston most of their married lives. Mr. Johnson served in World War I, and has been Service Officer for the American Legion for 35 years. He has also served as cemeterj commissioner for 20 years. He still holds both positions. He worked in the Preston Postal. Service for 35 years, having retired eight years ago. Both Mr. and Mrs. Johnson have been active in tha Latter-da- y Saints Church. 'Ihey have four children, Mrs. Clarence C. (Roma) Perry of Dewey ville. Utah;' Howard K. Johnson of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Victor II. (Shirley) Duke of Missoula, Mont., and Mark W. Johnson of Las Vegas, Nev. They have and two 15 grandchildren great grandchildren.
