Hale Jr. announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Heidi, to Michael Rex Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Merrill Brown, Smithfield. The wedding is planned for Friday in the Ogden LDS Temple. That evening a garden reception will be given in their honor from 7 to 9:30 at the home of the bride's parents, 306 East Valley View Drive, Preston. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. No invitations will be sent locally. In case of inclement weather, the reception will be held in the cultural hall of the Preston South Stake Center, 55 East 1st South. Miss Hale, the 1976 Miss Franklin County, has been on the honor roll at Weber State College. She is presently enrolled in her last year of the Dental Hygiene Program at WSC. Mr. Brown served a two year LDS mission to the German Hamburg Mission. He was a pre-me- d student at Utah State University and plans to continue his studies at the University of Utah in the pharmaceutical field. They will make their home in Ogden. Qociabk Citizen week. Visiting her parents, Annis and Roy Olney were their daughter Barbara Little and family, Linda and Donald of Staying with their grandparents, Ruth and Gilbert Phillips, were Ruth Ann and Ryan Munns of Grace, Idaho, while their parents spent two weeks in a seminar in Jackson, Wyo., and Provo, Utah. He teaches LDS Seminary in Grace. Their parents are Rhonda and Ryan Hawthorne, Calif. It had been three years since they saw each other last. Barbara and family also visited her sister Rhonda and Jerry Henderson and daughter, Angela in Salt Lake City. Wednesday they visited a brother, Danielle and Kenneth Olney and family. Holly, and mother, Jean Workman, all of Smithfield, drove to Lyman, Wyo., for the wedding of Jill Buckley, a friend. They also went to Henry's Fork to the grandparents. Florence and Sylvester Phillips to get Gloria's sisters. Carol and Linda Workman and did some fish- tives. Janet and DeVere Adams and son Douglas, Fielding, picked up Janet's parents. Earl and Pearl Gordon at their home in Smithfield and drove to the Provo Canyon at the "Theater in the Pines for the Gordon family reunion. 250 were present from Utah, California, Oregon and Maryland. A dinner was enjoyed. Followed by a program, MCd by Richard Gordon of Salt Lake City, of dancing, recordings played, and the older Gordon's were honored, which lasted one hour when it rained, blocking out the genealogy meeting. The Gordon's and Adam's visited their daughter and sister, Erlene and Wil Hedrick and family of Perry on their way home. The Hedrick's had been to the Glover family reunion at Downata Hot Springs, Idaho. Pres. Marion G. Romney will perform the ceremony. The bride-elec- t is the daughter of Mrs. Glenna M. Hansen, Provo, and the late Terrence L. Hansen. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Salone T. Hansen, Smithfield, and the late Leslie Hansen. The future bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. D. Evan Davis, Provo. A garden reception will honor the couple that evening at the home of the bride's mother. Miss Hansen, a graduate of Provo High School, is currently attending Brigham Young University and is majoring in music. She has spent the last six months in Vienna on a music scholarship. Britton has fullfiiled a two year mission for the LDS Church to Japan.
