Cltiien Photo By Leda Sutherland Newton Helen Rigby is the wife of Jay G. Rigby, who is a teacher at Sky View High School. They have four children, Val Jay, 11, Craig, 8, Karla, 6, and Melinda, 18 months. Helens spacious kitchen, wu by her for family meal preparation and she really enjoys cooking for hor family so she let each one of the children choose their favorite recipe. Val Jay picked cinnamon bum as his favorite while Craig liked scones but. Karlas favorite wu strawberry squares and Helen admits that the turkey burgers and salad dressing are some of her favorite because they are good and easy. Helen teaches the spiritual living lesson in Relief Society and she in also a member of the Newton Young Homemakers. Club and wu president in 1975. She enjoys sewing. Add 1 tsp. salt (If refrigerating, add) : ft tsp. soda ft tsp. baking powder ft tsp. ginger Will keep up to 3 weeks in fridge. Add yeast and some flour (lft cups). Beat and add 3 eggs. Add approximately 1 ft cup flour. Knead. Let rise 2 hours. Roll out ft inch thick. Cut with cookie cutter or in squares. Fry in hot oil, 380 degrees, for about 2 minutes cm each side. A bicentennial play, "Melt Down My Pewter, about the contributions women' made during the Revolutionary War was presented. It was directed by Betty Condie. Carolyn Roush was in charge of the music. Kent Erickson, son of Ha and Bishop Noble Erickson, has been called to serve a mission to the mission for two years. He has brothers and sisters, Alan, David, Susan and Julie. Kent is a graduate of Sky Mexico-Mon-tere- y View High School and four year LDS Seminary and has two quarters at USU majoring in economics. He belongs to the Young Adult class and is an Elder in the Fourth Ward LDS Church. He plays the piano and the guitar. He enjoys all sports, indoor and outdoor, and he terms with his father. LeGrande grew up in Benson, leaving here with his family when he was in his teens. They lived in Star Valley, Wyoming, where he met the girl who later became his wife. They are now living in Ogden, where LeGrande is a Professor at Weber State College. His son Brent recently returned from an LDS Mission in the Philippine Islands. He will be stationed at Lockland, Texas and will be associated with Logan; Pam and Steven Seamons and baby of Logan.
