Show THURSDAY, APRIL 3, 1975 THE CITIZEN 3 Smithfield Folks Enjoy Easter Holiday Diane and Robert Swartz and Jimmy, Myrlene, Teresa, Nancy and Bobby Jean drove to Salt Lake City Sunday to spend Easter with her sister and brother-in-law- , Carol and Kent Labrum and family, Jeffery, Jason and Jennifer. Also enjoying Easter dinner in Salt Lake City were Rick and Nancy Calderwood and Richie of Amalga, also, Cheryl and Buddie Calderwood and Coy of Logan and Linda and Scott Torson of Logan. Their parents, Arlene and Boyd Calderwood and Miki of Smithfield made the trip. Dinner was served and an Easter egg hunt conducted. Mrs. Diane Swartz had her tonsils removed again, Monday. They were removed when she was small. Elder John Calderwood has been changed in his mission to Appleton, Wis. from Friendly, Minn. He is on an LDS Mission Wisconcalled Minnesota sin. He has been made district leader under President Vem P. Peel. His parents are Arlene and Boyd CalderTHELMA DO. Add eggs, one at a time and beat. Alternately stir in flours, sifted with soda and salt, and fruit juices. When well blended add nuts, cherries, and dates. Stir carefully so as not to crush the dates. Bake in pans that have been oiled. I use wax paper in the bottom of pans. Bake at 300 degrees until firm to touch. Time varies with size of pan. Burdetta Harris told of special programs they have every Friday at 2:30 p.m. with free bus transportation for those who need it. Mrs. Chambers served lemon meringue pie, Easter chicks and eggs and a Bluebird Merry Widow for luncheon. Also, hot chocolate.
