Becksteads To Note 50th Year ' In observance of their 50th Via faM. of Mrs. Mr. and ily Lloyd N Beckstead will honor their parents at an open house liraHHintf QTiniuarBQw day, Sept 22, from 2 p.m., at the home of Dr. and Mrs. David W. Beckstead in Whitney. Mr. Beckstead was born Sept. 16, 1897 in Whitney, a p.m. to son of Amasa and Mary Myr- 5 iam Neeley Beckstead. Mrs. Beckstead was born Feb. 6, 1897 in Preston, a daughter of Ezra Foss and Grace Ann Hemenway Woolley. The couple was married Sept. 25, 1918 in the Salt Lake Temple and have lived in Whitney all their married life. They have been active members of the LDS church and filled a mission to the Central States in 1962-6Mr. and Mrs. Beckstead are the parents of five children, Mrs. Raymond (Shirley) Nelson of Richmond; Lloyd Jr., of Salt Lake City; Spencer W. and Anthony W., of Rowland Heights, Calif., and David W., of Whitney. They have 23 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The family requests no gifts.
