It was Sky View high school's "Dear and Glorious Physician. This Isnt to be considered in any sense of the word a review of the play. We violated a rale of Journalism of becoming too engrossed in the production to remember to Jot anything down. We were impressed by many things about this story of Luke, me author of one of the Gospels. First is appropriatness to die season. Second, the quality of acting by the high school students. Robert Mouritsen, who Cm the part of Luke, was indeed the star of the production. Here is a very talented man, and outstanding young man. wasn't alone. There was Vicki Fowler, who took the part of Mary; Lynn Samsel, who took die part of Priscus; Sam Bodily, who took the part of Keptah, and many, many more. We were impressed by the quality of the setting. Not the beautiful new auditorium with all of its advantages, but by the sound effects, the very simple but impressive stagtag, the costumes. And we were impressed by the number of students used in producing the show, with each being given credit. But above all, we were impressed by the after effects. The feeling mat we had seen something very worthwhile, very uplifting. The feeling that kids are really alright in our generation, that they can do good things, serious things.
