The building contains 10,800 square feet of space and cost, including land, $200,000. Most unique feature of the building is its "sophisticated" heating and cooling system utilizing electric heat pumps. Described as the ideal furnace, they depend solely upon air as an exchange medium. In summer they draw heat from the inside air and discharge it to the outside. In winter the heat pumps reverse the cycle drawing heat from the outside and delivering it to the inside. Supplemental heating is also supplied by lights and electric resistant systems. Fresh air is added and cleaned. one-stor- LOADING DOCK AND METES ROOM a loading dock and adjacent warehouse provide quick access and easy handling of materials for daily job assignments of the five line crews working out of the service center.
