Show JtiK.. April 2"). American Mculwn arrested uJvanee of British at 1itersAurg, Va. 17M. un-d- ir Second Year No. 52 A Home Paper for Home People Telephone 700 LOGAN. Why Not Support Your Own Interests? You Become the Benefactor To the merchants, business and professional interests of lxgan and Cuclie County, we ask you give heed. You have all seen the very fine edition of the Cache American which was generally circulated When you throughout this county on Friday last. scanned that issue, you could readily see that the staff of this paper can really put out a publication that is a credit to a city and county with the population of which we boast. Gentlemen : we apieal to you to give us your support and we promise you with our right hand stretched high above our shoulder, that we will give, you a paper that you will be proud of. We willTiecome a legal publication on May 1, 1933. At that time our paper will be worth more to you because of the fact that you will I able to find legal notices that concern you, published in these columns. As the oldest newspaper men in this city, with your interests our interests, we really believe we know what you want in your newspaper. We have fallen short of giving you the state and national news. You have had to be content to get this news from the Salt Lake dailies. Before now, we have worked in a shop in this city where the citizens were not only given the local news from every town and hamplet in this county, but they were also given the state and world news every day over a leased wire, direct into that plant. Local newspaper raders have been deprived of this service now for over a year. We know the citizens long to have that service restored. It is our ambition to give it to you. There is one way to have the Associated Press wire restored to Logan and that is to support the institution that knows the value of it; support the institution that has an interest in your problems- - Putting it another way, support the paper that is a home paper, and you will have that very thing accomplished. The Cache American has struggled along for one year and a half. It has done it with no outside financial backing. Citizens in every community in this valley know by this time, that we are able to give you real service in a newspaper. We are not appealing for something for nothing. We want to give a dollar value for a dollar received. We want to be the publishers of your paper. We want to have your advertising support, we want to have you on our subscription list. Ask any one of your neighbors the kind of treatment they have received from the members of our staff. That is the kind of treatment we want to give you. Just a little boosting on the part of the Logan and Cache county public, wiU give to this valley a daily, newsy paper, one that will carry the Associated Press news service. Merchant, business and professional men, heed this appeal and you will be the benefactor. NATIVE SON MILLVILLE CAN Butter Market Butter 6an Francisco (USDA scoring 92 wa wiling at 23 cents today.
