Show association THE TENNESSEE exposition the seven members of our race whom governor heber M wells selected to represent our new state at the tennessee exposition failed to accomplish anything whatever in that direction we highly resolved that the members of our ram race who are fortunate enough to reside in these grand and magnificent valleys should be represented in that great southern exposition and after two weeks of very hard work we finally succeeded in collecting together a very fine collection of mineral specimens and curios from the various mines and ana the leading miners of this the 1 i b best est and the youn youngest gost state in the union the collection consists of one hundred and seventy eight pieces and we feel confident that it will attract a great deal of attention from the millions of visitors who will frequent the negro building from now until R th the e dose close of the exposition tiou the broad ax and mrs taylor can never liquidate our obligations to the following gentlemen who so generously and magnanimously I 1 aided and assisted in helping to collect this unique collection we have prepared a typewritten catalogue which will accompany it the transferring the collection to the freight depot THE BIG FOUR we succeeded in securing a special rate on the mineral exhibits to the mississippi river through the untiring efforts of john A peeves
