Some of the performances were Hannah Old-roy- d and Lanny Britsch singing a duet, Ted Dowling a pantomime, past cheerleaders led some cheers, a trio consisting of Mary Lou Kruse, Brenda Morrison and Sybil Sherif, a trumpet trio, and the factual story of the history of our beloved high school. The Homecoming game wiil be held this afternoon in the stadium against Lehi. We would like to wish the team the best of luck. The Drill Team will make their first performance there. We N.R.O.T.C The Navy is going to test thousands of high school seniors this year in the selection procedure for the Regular Navy Reserve Officers' Training Corps program. The Regular NROTC is maintained for one purpose to train and educate young men for ultimate commissioning as career officers in the Navy and Marine Corps. Successful candidates will start their Naval Careers in colleges and universities across the country in 1959. After a normal college education and substantial Navy training, graduates will be cers in the Navy or Marine Corps remember. B. Y. Highs annual Homecoming activities are being held the for active duty with the United States fleets throughout the world. For those who qualify and apply, assignment to flight training will open new caroms in naval aviation. All tuition, fees, and books will be furnished by the Navy, plus an annual retainer pay of S600 for a maximum of four years. Regular NROTC midshipmen will spend part of three successive summers on training cruises with various fleet units. Application blanks can be obB. tained in the guidance office. This is something new which hasn't been done before at B. Y. High. In the Current History class, Mrs. Caines students will be sponsoring the Model United Nations this year.
