Lets continue to live up to this expectation. ct Notre Maisons Hold Sweetheart Ball And Assembly Notre Maisons annual Sweetheart Ball and Assembly were held on February 8, with LuJean Pyne, elected by the club, the crowned queen. The assembly, participated iq by all club members, was held Friday morning at eleven, with the dance in the Joseph Smith ball room the following evening. Theme for the evening was Sweet and Lovely and decorations were based around it. A floor show was presented, including the highlight of the evening when the queen, followed by her two attendants, Charmayne Mat-se- n and Yolanda Perry, was led to the throne and presented a crown of flowers. The assembly, under the direction of Joyce Atkinson, was an air member affair. A throne for the queen was placed in the center of the stage with every one gathered around in pastel formals. Musical and dance numbers were presented for the enjoyment of all. A skit was presented by Gla dys Nixon, Ann Taylor, DAnn Naser, Russell Perry, Joyce Christiansen, Charlene Sessions, and Marion Johnson. The interlude was given by our own AlLeon Fritenstein bert Christensen. After they had eaten their lunch at Liberty Park, the group went up to the State Capital where half of them watched the Senate and half watched the House of Representatives. When the session was near half way through, the group got on the busses and started home. The students made the usual bus ride noise on the way back to Provo. The last bus reached Provo after five in the aftemon. ium To Treat Seventh Graders Enjoy Class Party On the first of February the 7th Grade had their long awaited class party. It consisted of two hours of roller skating in the womens gym, and then a dash for Mrs. Cains room was made, where hot chili was served in abundance for all.
