Shes wild over brown eyes, sweaters, and tomato sandwiches. l, Kathy Redd, junior, from Utah, is the new Society Editor. Her favorite color is blue and she likes strawberries and ranches. Highs Childrens Theatre Mrs. Virginia Poulson has returned to B. Y. High to teach homemaking, and at the present time she is the faculty adviser of Notre Maisons, the school's homemaking club. She taught here first in 1935. In 1940, she left teaching to become the district manager of the Provo City school lunch program. When asked for an opinion of school conditions, Mrs. Poulson I feel that schools remarked, have changed for the better since 1937. Mr. Allman, another new addition to the faculty, was born in Mammoth, Utah, but raised in Provo. He graduated from the B. Y. U. in 1948. He taught high school in Snowflake, Arizona, last year. This year at B. Y. High, Mr. Allman is teaching biology, general science, eugenics, and religion. His interests other than teaching include music, plastics, dancing, and his new bride. Spotlight Parade Features John Fechser To our scnool this year comes j a lad with a very charming personality. His name is John Fechser, senior, and he hails from Las Vegas, Nev. He lived there all his life until this year when he moved to Provo. He is one the reasons the band is sounding so good these days. In case you're wondering, the Bass is the horn he plays. He participated in the Las Vegas High School Band for three years, at which time he played the clarinet and the bass His hobbies are music, horn. photography, and dramatics. They were elected by secret ballot in the individual class rooms. A good number of the students elected were new students to the school. The new class officers are as follows: 50-5- Editorial . . .
