We have heard many times about men fighting and dying for the right to present the facts and news to the public in the light of truth. Although its used many times, it is still valid and deserves much consider- ation. Beginning Oct. 11, the nation will celebrate National Newspaper Week, honoring these men and the thousands of newspapers throughout the country. We, the staff of this paper, would like the students of BY High to be aware of this week and recognize the importance of it both through the school paper and the community papers. Although decided underdogs as far as statistics go, nothing is impossible this year. Students have tackled registration frustrations and delved into their academic challenges, while the football team (with fewer than 100 boys in the high school) have met the gridiron challenges with stamina, of heroes. It was an uninspiring contest, especially to the Wildcats as the Vikings practically handed the ball game to them on several occasions. The game will be played in Payson. b rd Y 7. RICH INJURED Halfback Steve Rich was lost for the season with a knee injury in the third quarter. All of the scoring was made in 'the fourth quarter as PG made a TD in the early part with a pass on fourth down and 11 to go. The PAT kick was good. Then it was the Willcats turn to hit paydirt as they mounted drive with a consistant a combination of passing and running plays.
