Singing by the choir. Prayer was offered by Elder 0. N. Slohl. Singing. Sacrament administered by the Priesthood of the Fourth Ward. Elder Oleen Slohl read a poem entitled, The Vetrans of Our Cause, dedicated to President Wilford Wood run" on his eighty seventh birthday. Elder Crandall Dunn of Beaver Ward, was the first speaker. Told of his first experience in early days when he was convinced of the truths of the gospel, etc. Related his first missionary labor, and the opposition he received, which fortified forti-fied him with courage to preach the gospel. Also spoke of his labor in the British mission, in England and Scotland, and the success that attended the labors of the elders in early days. The power of God was with his people always. Spoke of the integrity of President W i 1 f o rd Woo d r u ff , and said the poem read was a just eulogy of his I character as shown through his! useful labors in the church of! which he is the honored President. Counseller Madson was the next speaker. Had been pleased in listening to the testimony of Elder Dunn. Referred to a few words he spoke from the stand some time back, counseling the saints to follow their file leaders, and not trust to the advice of those who get disaffected; who want to oppose those who are appointed to lead and direct and counsel the saints. Counseled all not to follow such, for if we do it will lead us away from the path of safety. We have other and better things lo contemplate, contem-plate, and if we will only keep ourselves in a proper line with our brethren of the priesthood, we shall always feel well; and if we do our duty the Lord will bless us. Spoke briefly on the labors in the temples that are erected in these valley, of the mountains. Encouraged En-couraged all to be faithful. The choir sang an an them: "The Lord Our God be with us."
