On July 2, Mr. Fredrickson, his son, Harold G. Fiedrickson of Ogdon, his daughters, Beverly Jean Fredrickson and Mrs. George L. Davis and her children, Elaine and Fredrick Davis of Corinne, motored to Yellowstone park by way of Victor, Idaho, going through the Teton pass. Grand Teton National park and Jackson, Wyoming. They spent a few days seeing the sights and returned home by way of Cody, Wyoming, where they visited the Buffalo Bill museum and other Wyoming towns along the way. They returned to Corinne Tuesday af ter having camped out at Red Banks, in Logan canyon. Mr. Fredrickson returned to Carlin, Nevada last Wednesday, where he is employed with the Southern Pacific Railroad company. C. M. giand-daughter- Wednesday evening, Mis. E. B. Owen was hostess to members of the Dublers club at a cleverly arranged bridge party at her home. Luncheon was served in the auraitive gaidens of the Owen home at small tables. Bridge was the diversion of the evening with prizes being awarded to Mrs. Mae Peterson, Mrs. George Craghead and Mrs. Denzell Butler. Teen-Ag- e I I Eve are invited to the Teen club Monday evening at 8:15 p. m. to attend a moving picture show which will be shown by Sgt. Harvey Wardrop. The pictures shown will be Hawaiian Holiday, an interesting account of the islands and their people; and "Divide and Conquer, a film put out by the War department, showing the strategy used by the Germans in conquering the smaller countries in Europe. This is the second in a series of seven films entitled Why We Fight. These pictures will prove to be very entertaining and all members of the Teen club and those who would like to join, are invited to be present. All s 2-- TISSUE The Veterans of Foreign Wars and their auxiliary enjoyed an outing last Thursday evening at Rees Pioneer park. Special invited guests were members of the Tremonton and Corinne posts and their auxiliary. Mrs. Eva Smith and Mrs. Leah Kimber were captains of the softball game with Mrs. Kim-ber- s team the winners. A delicious "potluck luncheon was served cafeteria style to approximately 90 people. During the luncheon, Dan Frodsham, commander of the George Miss Gidney post introduced Donna Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Royce Peterson, who pjayed several accordion selections. She also furnished soft music throughout the dinner. Mr. Frodsham then introduced members of the Corinne and Tremonton posts and then ask ed for responses from delegates who attended the state V. F. W. convention held recently at St. George, June 25, 26, and 27.
