The new banking corporation succeeds the defunct State Bank of Tremonton. The officers of the new banking firm are Moses C. Taylor, former cashier of the bank at Kamas, president; John P. Holmgren of Bear River City, Herman Griffin, of the Salt Lake branch of the Federal Reserve bank, cashier; board of directors, Moses C. Taylor of Kamas; Alex Walker, Ogden; John P. The Box Elder Commercial club and Chamber of Commerce will broadcast Brigham City, Box Elder County, Peach Day, American Legion convention and an unexcelled program from Browning Bros. This sum proved to be insufficient and additional money had to be borrowed yet a sinking fund toward repayment has already been set up.
