Mr. William Holmes, auditor of Salt Lake City, is in Brigham City auditing the municipal records. Mr. and. Mrs. H. L. Meffert went down to Salt Lake City Monday and from there they left for Pocatello on Tuesday, returning to their home in this city 'Wednesday evening. Mr. Lewis Boothe of Honeyvilie, was in Brigham City today visiting rela tives and friends. Mr. Boothe is rapidly approaching his 87th birthday and is in the full possession of his mental faculties and enjoys reasonably vigorous health. Sergeant Arlow Anderson arrived at his home in Salt Lake City Wednes day of this week from Camp Russell, Wyoming. He was in the army 24 months, 8 months of which time were spent in France. F., in which he states that he jpst returned from a visit to Monte Carlo, the famous resort in northern Italy on the Mediteranean Sea. He saw the name of Leon P. Christensen, another Brigham City boy, on the Y. M. C. A. register but could not locate him in the city. Private Anderson states that it will likely be some months before he gets back home. He is a brother to Private Albert S. Peters went down to Ogden yesterday to attend a meeting of the committee having in charge the arrangements for the Golden Spike celebration to be held at Ogden on May 10th. Mayor Peters was Invited by special request and was accompanied to Ogden by Mrs. Peters. Mrs. Elizabeth Wright relumed yesterday from an extended visit with members of her family at Idaho Falls.
