Snow says that lie ba-n- t as many peaches, numerically speaking, as lie bad last year within but tlie weight of the crop is equal and the quality so much better that his cash returns will exceed that of last season. Other people in that vicinity bear witness to the same truths. Our growers themselves, that is some of tnem, have wilfully stood la their own light through Insisting that there is but a small crop of peaches this year. Tbe oonsequence is that people in outside settlements who have always secured their fruit here are looking elsewhere and the erstwhile everpresent peddler, or wagon, is missing. There is an abundance of peaones between here and Willard, and including both towus, literally going to waste. Someof tbe fruit may not be up to the standard in size, but would answer admirably for putting up. Let us make known to our neighbors on the North, East, West and South that we are amply prepared to furnish them with peaches of every variety. Dont allow anyone to cry hard times to the people that we want to deal with. They want our peaches if they can get them and we want their money we need it. We could just as well have had more than we will now get if some of our good people had been less pessimistic. Notwithstanding Trains arrive at 10 a. m.
