Morgan, wife of win Morgin of this city, died last Friday evening at 9 oclock, as a result of stoma Jh troubles. Mrs. Morgan was one of the first childrea born in Brigham City, aad is the daughter of John D. Rees and Mary Bees, when she was born the old house now standing two blocks east of the county court house, was in course of erection and they had to get along with a covered wagon for shelter. This was on Oct. 251 h 1854. Ia Dec 1872 she was married to wra Morgan and is the mother of twelve children, seven of whom survive her Mrs, Morgan wag a lovable woman and made many close friends during her sojourn in this life May she receive the reward which is due her and In the great bevuml tiud rest and peace. The funeral was held Monday at 2 oclock In the 2nd ward meeting bouse. The speakers were former Bishop Valentine, Susanna P, Boothe James Olsen. Pres. Charles Kelly, Lucius A Snow, OleenN. Stohl, E. A. Box, M L. Ensign, Nephl J Valentine and Bp. Tl.os. Blackburn. Heavy Hand of Death- - Leon, the little son ot Mr. and Mrs. Orson Poulson of the Third ward, died last Monday of pneumonia. This is the second child these young people have been called upon to part with this month. The eldest child died of ihe same Cause about three weeks ago. Leon was the second and they have but one left. Funeral services were held in the ward meeting house yesterday afternoon. The speakers were Elders James P. Olsen, Nels Madsen, FredJ Holton and Wm.
