Show KSSa THE BOX ELDER NEWS, THURSDAY DECEMBER THE NICHOLS MINSTRELS. Organization of Local Talent Cive Some Fine Entertainments- - The Nichols minstrels have liven four 6uccssful entertainments at the opera honse the past week and have delighted all who attended with the excellence of the program rendered. All who took part, seventy-tw- o in number, are residents of this city and is another evidence that Brigham City has its share of talented young people. Much of the success pf the entertainments is due to the instructions of Prof. E. W. Nichols, who has worked hard to make it a success, and who directed each performance from beginning to end. The first performance was given Christmas afternoon for a matinee and Christmas night for the public. It was repeated Saturday night, and Monday afternoon it was presented for the special entertainment of the old folks free of charge. The opera was well filled on each house sion. occa- minstrels presented The seventy-tw- o a pleaslngslght when the curtain rose, the front row consisting of colored with the regulation intergemmen locutor and end men.
