Whitney Floyd, extension forester. This spring more than 100,-00- 0 trees have been sent out for farm planting in Utah. Farm Clean-U- Urged p For Fire Prevention Between now and May 31 is the time to clean up around farm buildings, to clean irrigation ditches, and to burn other accumulaunwanted winter tions, according to the Utah board of forestry and fire control. The danger of fires getting out of control at at this time of year is much less than during summer months. However, even during the spring, many accidents result from the careless use of fire. Unatttended fires lighted to burn dead grass and weeds along ditch banks and in farm yards each year get away to burn improvements which are costly to replace. Always stay with a fire until it is out, states J. Whitney Floyd, chief forester-firewardefor Utah. Little breezes like to sneak up to invite lazy sparks to become ambitious flames, and they in turn can destroy fences, farm buildings, and occasionally, a home. n T. B. Cattle Tests IS INDISPENSABLE Still Available ON MODERN FARMS All cattle in the Brigham City area should now have been tested for tuberculosis, according to Dr. J. E. Rasmussen, veterinarian. The government is very anxious to see that a complete test is made of all the animals of the county.
