Light refreshments were served to twelve ladies present On Saturday at noon, the Relief Society gave the school children a lunch and a matinee dancing party, under the direction of the public school teachers. Twelve couples motored to Corinne Friday and spent the evening visiting Mrs. Margaret Anderson in honor of her birthday. Luncheon was served and card games enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Evans and family of Carlin, Nevada, are visiting here with Mrs. Wallace Mantello and family. Saturday evening, a party was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Arbon. Five Hundred was played, after which a hot supper was seryed. Misses Delorls Thorsen and Eleanor Jensen, USAC students, spent the week-en- d here. Mr. and Mrs. George Morrison of Richmond, Mrs. Q. J. Nebeker of Ogden and Mrs. Emery Reese and Mrs. Noel Bennion of Brigham City spent Sunday visiting Mr. and Mrs. John P. Holmgren. Mrs. Ben' Christensen entertained at a party Sunday in honor of her little daughter Carols fourth birthday. A hot dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Ursel Whitaker entertained Friday evening. Progressive games were played and a tray luncheon served. Mrs. Arthur George entertained on Sunday afternoon in honor of her daughter Jewells tenth birthday. Luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Iverson announce the arrival of a baby girl born at their home Tuesday, March 28th. All concerned doing nicely. Mrs. Sina Thorsen and daughter Deloris, Mrs. Emma Ohman and Miss Eleanor Jensen spent Saturday In Salt Lake City. Max Jensen of Salt Lake City spent Saturday and Sunday visiting Bishop and Mrs. Osey Jensen and family. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Neeley and Mrs. Mary S. Watkins, the band people of the high school have prepared a program for Friday and Saturday of this week, which days have been set off as band days. The program, calls for a nirade on Friday afternoon and a concert following each of the shows at the Grand Theatre and a dance at the Bluebird ballroom Saturday, where winners of the contest will be announced. The feature of the program was a couple of song hits by Robert Reese, Jr. Robert is a former gradu ate of Box Elder, who has been away studying music.
