Jack Bowring, formerly of this city but now of Klamath Falls, Oregon, arrived in Brigham City by motor Wednesday to visit for a week with his parents. Bishop and Mrs. J. Frank' Bowring, and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Jack Bowring and their little daughter, Barbara Jean, have been visiting in Brigham City during the past week. Mr. Bowring is taking a prominent part in musical and church affairs at Klamath Falls, where a live branch1 of the L. D. S. church is established. He is operating the Altamert dance, hall and is conducting the band there. Jack is sold on Klamath Falls and says it is one of the livest bustling cities in the northwest, with a payroll of more than $2,000,000 a month. Besides the large timber interests there, a new agricultural section is being opened up and with ample water available this project promises to reach large proportions. When Jack went to Klamath Falls two and years ago, the population of that city was about 8,000.
