About forty ladies of this city met Friday in the Commercial Club rooms and effected an organization, a ladies auxiliary to the Commercial Club. Mrs. Lula B. Call was appointed temporary chairman and Olga K. Lee temporary secretary. Mr. F. W. Fishbttrn was present and on behalf of the Commercial Club addressed the ladies as to the aim and object of the ladies auxiliary. The main subject, he said, was to bring the people of this city together and have them get acquainted. Attempts in the past to promote things socially have been received with indifference and that for the good of our town it was time now for us all to unite and "boost" every person, place and thing in our midst; to do away with small prejudices, to augment the growth of our home interests by supporting them and being instrumental in building up and assisting in the onward progression of our city. Brigham City has many advantages and needs but our united efforts to them and make it a flourishing and bustling little town. The ladies present who listened to Mr. Fishburn's remarks felt it their bounden duty to respond and render all the assistance in their power to make the Ladies' Auxilliary a success. A prominent organization was then effected with the following officers: Mrs. Minnie H. Jensen. President; Mrs. Marion W. Dunn, Mrs. Olga K. Lee, Secretary; Mrs. C. O, Christensen, Assistant and MLs Eliza Hanson, Trea surer. The following committee of five was appointed to draft Mesdames Wynn L. Eddy, W. H. Glover, L. Berg and C. O.
