Show AT OGDEN in the death of J C frederickson brigham city loses one of its most substantial citizens he died at the home of 0 his son fred at ogden saturday morning at six at the age of 68 years following an illness of tour four months with cancer of the stomach mr air was born march 31 1855 at boster denmark while in his native land he married miss bliss johannah nelson kelson and they came to utah in taking up their residence in this city he has resided he here reever ever since that time ile he followed the lines of agriculture and horticulture as a business but devoted much of his time to public affairs he was a faithful worker in the church having acted as a counselor to bishop D P burt at f the third ward tor for a number lumber of years he was also a member of the high council of the box elder eider stake being also active i in in civic affairs he served as a city councilman of 0 brigham city tor for a period of 0 six years mr frederickson was a man of sterling character and was pronounced by those who knew him best as being very dependable his word was as good as his bond he was a loving husband and an indulgent father surviving are the widow and the following sons and daughters fred and N W of ogden christian and james of corinne Corl mrs N E of rock springs wyo cylde steed charles john lillian and ervin Fredeick sen of this city there are also 20 grand children surviving funeral services ger services vices were held at 1 0 clock this afternoon at the third ward chapel |
