Show DEATH OF is GEO 0 friday evening at about To clock the angel of death called mrs mary taylor davis wife ot of george davis of bert utah mrs airs davis died at the home of attorney and mrs W E davis in this city and the cause was diabetes su per induced by motherhood mrs airs davis was the daughter of mr and mrs airs apollan taylor of willard where she was born july during her residence in willard she was one of the most prominent young ladies of the city and was anc anca active etive worker in the ward organizations mrs airs davis was a bitted musician and tor for a time just previous to her marriage she was conductor of the ward benoir she became the wife of george davis april 1915 and soon thereafter the young people went out to bert on the promontory to reside all mrs rs davis was a person whom to know was to love and her untimely death has cast a pall of gloom over the ward where she resided the greater part of her life besides her husband she leaves a father mother and a number of sisters and brothers to mourn her loss beautifully impressive funeral services were held in tile the willard chapel yesterday afternoon beginning at two the house was filled filed to capacity and the stand was covered with a wealth of floral tributes the re maiks ot of the speakers were full of at eulogy of the beautiful life of the deceased and words of comfort were spoken to the bereaved with le ie assurance that at a coming time all that is apparently ly lost now will be fully made up the speakers were bishop joseph hubbard who conducted the services high councilman wm win J facer elder IV E EF morgan and president S norman lee the musical numbers rendered by the choir were the hymns sister thou west mild and lovely my father knows and sometime well understand tanj between speakers victor E madson sang a solo entitled lead me all the way and thorvald jorgensen of salt lake rendered a violin solo the prayers were offered by P patriarchy B 3 P bordon arid and elder willard facer A great many relatives and frienda from distant points came to attend the services and a long cortege accompanied the remains to the cemetery |
