Show FAITHFUL WOMAN 1326 FOES TO REST on thursday morning last at the home of her daughter mrs dr ellason eliason at hyrum sirs airs susannah facer of willard passed on to a well earned rest mrs airs facer had been a sufferer for some time her health being broken as a result of the many man sad trials which she was called upon to bea she was the mother of eleven children and all but one have preceded her to tile the other life within tile the past year or so several of her children died leaving families and when her eldest son passed away some months ago the shock was more than she could bear and from that time slie she has endured poor health accompanied by pain and suffering ering sirs mrs facer was the wife of the late bishop george facer of willard whom she married during the troublous times of the underground she had been married before that and had three children and her union with dishop bishop racer facer was blessed by eig eight ant children she was one of the leading workers among the women of willard for many years and was the first president of the retrenchment association she was prominently identified with the relief society and other organizations of the ward and after leaving willard to reside with her children in idaho and other parts of tills this state mrs facer was active iu in ell church benevolent work she was born in salt lake city on april ath 1848 and experienced all ail the hardships of early days while in her youth the remains is were brought from hyrum to willard on saturday and funeral services were held in the willard tabernacle at 1230 on that hat day bishop joseph hubbard presided or ov er the services which began by tile the hoir choir singing the hymn sometime well atvell understand after which elder john fohn J ward offered the invocation J r welton ward then sang the hymn 0 my father and remarks were made by bishop hubbard W J facer nels madsen and patriarch denmark jensen each of whom spoke in plowing glowing terms of the character of the deceased ceased le and bore testimony that surely such a noble liable character will ir lerit berit all the Wes blessings sings a kind hind and loving father has promised to his faithful children A biographical sketch of if the life of bf the deceased was read by ay iy miss phoebe harding between speakers miss althea hubbard sang face to face and W V call all sang beautiful isle the closing clasing ng number by the choir was the hymn ivan my aly father knows and the benediction was pronounced by 0 C dalby boalby the floral tributes wera Iro profuse fuse and beautiful and the tabernacle was fillet with relatives and sympathizing friends of the deceased |
