The tryouts will be held at the little league diamond, Rees Pioneer park, starting at 1 p.m. this Saturday and at 8 a.m. on April 27. All nine to boys interested in trying out for the teams should be on hand and in fact, must attend at least one tryout to be eligible for selection. The National league takes in the area west of Main street and south of Forest plus Perry. IF A BOY Is or will be nine years old as of July 31, 1963, he is eligible to play. However, if a boy is 13 as of Aug. 1 this year, he is beyond the eligible age group. Boys who played with a me-jo- r league team last year are asked not to turn out. For men only, breakfast will be served starting at 7 a.m. with blind bogey tourney play to follow. Prizes will be awarded for the various winners and outstanding golfers in the categories of competition. This event annually opens the clubs golfing season.
