Show Friday Night Mothers and daughters will gather for a dinner at the Community Presbyterian church on Friday. May 11, in the fellowship hall. Following the banquet a program will be presented for the ladies, with Robert Waiser serving as master of ceremonies. FATHERS WILL entertain in song as The Singing Beaux and many other program numbers will include such variety as a marimba solo, cello duet, the Adorabelles" singing group, and a fashion show with models from the church group. Mrs. J. F. Collier will be accompanist for the program, and has planned the event as program chairman for the Womens Association. The annual event is held to honor Gold Star Mothers in the area, and ail members of the local club are urged to come and bring their mothers. If their mothers are deceased or not living in the area, members are invited to borrow a mother for the day. Refreshments will be served to those present, and a tiny gift presented to each of the gold star mothers. An entertaining program is being planned for the day, according to event chairman Mrs. Lafe Jensen. The adopted Scott youngster will be named Frank, and is the first little one for the couple. His mother, Grace J. Kling, is employed by Box Elder County Bank, while daddy works at Hill Air Force base in Ogden.
