(Jack) Austin, 73, former resident of Garland and brother of E. M. Austin of Brigham City, died of a heart ailment at Evanston, Wyo. He was born July 23, 1884, at Lehi, a son of George and Elizabeth MacFarlane Austin. He lived at Garland for about ten years prior to moving to Evanston 40 years ago. He is survived by a son, George Austin of Seattle, Wash.; two. brothers and a sister: E. N. Ted Austin of Brigham City; Clarence Austin of Garland; and Mrs. Emma Stanton of Salt Lake Heart Ailment Ogden Hospital Show Set by BE Fair Board City. Hi- - Lite Oliver Woodruff Olsen, 82, of 675 North Main, died Friday at his home of a heart ailment. He was born April 11, 1876, in Brigham City, a son of Christian and Mary Carlsen Olsen. He was reared and educated in Brigham City, Paradise and Harper ward. On Oct. 25, 1899, he married Pauline Korth in the Logan LDS temple. They resided in Harper ward where he was a farmer. Flint, Sr., Route 2, Brigham City, last week was elected secretary of the Student Government assoschool ciation for the 1958-5year at Westminster college in Salt Lake City. Miss Flint is a sophomore and editor of The Parson, school newspaper. Other student government officers elected were Arthur Donald Coleman, Salt Lake City, president; Robert Lee Russell, Pocatello, Idaho, vice president; and Joy Marie Hammer, Salt Lake City, treasurer. Weaver of Brigham City; Porter Weaver of Provo; Ezra Weaver of Hooper; Shirley Weaver of Ogden; Mrs. Minnie Jeppson of Brigham City; Mrs. Myrtle Compton of Ogden; and Mrs. Amanda Johnson of Garland. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 1 p. m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Funeral chapel in Ogden. Burial was in the Ogden City cemetery.
