Hadfield Held at River View Park With 32 Family Members Present Get-Togeth- er Thirty two members of the John Hadfield family met at River View park in Salt Lake City in the new Rose Park area for a supper Chicken dinner was served, followed by games and visiting. Cobbs Are Back From Vacation Back from a Weeks vacation pleasant trip to two Blyth-vill- Arkansas are Mr. and Mrs. Everett D. Cobb. Purpose of the trip was to visit with their son, Airman First Class Richard N. Cobb, his wife and daughters, Mary Jo and Jeri Lynn. Brigham Matrons Return From Vacation Two Mrs. Elda Nelson and Mrs. Gean Jones have just returned from a two weeks trip to .Southern California. MrS. with Nelson , visited friends of her son, the late Lt. (j g.) Bruce Nelson at the navy base and hospital in San Diego, and with Lt. Commander Weaver and his wife at Coronado. Weaver was Lt. Nelsons commanding officer. She also visited with friends at Glendale and saw the beauties of Forest Lawn. Mrs. Jones .visited with her son, Dick Jones and wife in Los Angeles. Both Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Nelson attended Los Angeles LDS temple sessions. They witnessed the. temple wedding of Mr. and Mrs, Jack Jones, and also attended a wedding reception in their honor at Whittier, the same evening. Mr. Jones spent time in San Francisco with her daughter w, Mr. and Mrs. and Jack Bryant. Mr. Bryant is stationed at Hamilton. Both report a very enjoyable vacation. Included on the agenda for the youngsters have been the following: Home Builders' Holiday Homebuilders spent a holiday at Rees Pioneer park with their Mrs. mothers, teachers, Mary Rees, Mrs. June Gordon, and Mrs. Virginia Ludlow, as well as Mrs. Carma Billings, stake board, and Mrs. Norene Burt-cheward presidency. The girls decorated box lunches and prizes went to Karolyn Knudson, Margaret Owens and Susan Valentine for the gayest , boxes. Skits were presented and contest games played. A taira held the fingertip length veil which completed the bridal ensemble. She carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds. Maid of honor was Karen Quayle, with Sharon Ward, Annette Ward, Arlene Ward and Mrs. Darlene Hadfield as bridesmaids. All carried white carnations and pink rosebud nosegays and were attired in pink formats. Mother of the bride wore a blue dress and Mrs. Hadfield chose a pink model. Both wore rosebud corsages.
